Not a whole lot to say, just wanted to post the cake I made for my babies 4th Birthday...well I guess he is not my baby any more he is my big boy and he is into cars, robots and super heroes.
I actually made this cake at 3AM because I just could not sleep. I was done about the time the kids got up for the day.
and of course he wanted to eat Batman's headI used cocoa powder and blue food coloring in chocolate frosting to come up with the black. once I had black I added some to white frosting to make the silver.

This is so funny, Shayne, because my 16-year-old son just said the other day, "What is it about 4-year-old boys that they're all really, really into superheroes?" (This was after a day out and about and seeing no less than 6 boys, of about that age, dressed in various stages of super herodom.)

I guess cause they are big and strong and can do things no other can like through web out of their hands. the funny thing is he has never even seen a cartoon or a movie with a super hero.
