what do I do with this

I was out of town for a few days and when I am gone my DH does not do any shopping. Now that I am home I would like to get through that rest of the week with what is in the house. I have a chicken breast (it might be a thigh - it is frozen) and plums that really need to be eaten and cooked would be the best thing to do with them at this point. I am going to try to find or create a plum chicken dish for dinner tonight. Wish me luck because I think I am going to need it. ok after some surfin this is what I have come up with (Keep in mind that I should be doing homework) Chicken breast salt and peppered caramelize some onions in olive oil add and cook the plums with some white wine I will taste at this point and figure out what else to do. Served with rice and a salad of radishes, peppers and tomatoes Drum Roll Please... when I tasted it I added salt pepper and fresh thyme in the end it was not bad and the kids loved the idea of eating pink chicken

hi shayne, you can make a chicken and plums tajine, very common athough mostly useds with prunes. it's very good. you brown the seasonned chicken on each side, then add 1 small onion very finely chopped. You cover the meat with water+safran. Season lightly. Add 1/2 stick of cinnamon, as I know your hubby is not a big fun of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp groung ginger and 1 clove(optionnal if you don't have it), 1 tbsp brown sugar, and cover with a lid. Let cook until the chickn is done. Uncover, add the plums pitted and let it reduce until the sauce thickens and becomes syrupy. You can add also 10 min before turning off the heat, some sliced apples.
Hope you like it. Can't wait to see what you are going to do.

Oh man I didn't see your post until after dinner and this looks like it would have been good and I even have all the ingredients (even clove)
